This video isn’t much to watch, but The Merry Thoughts are the next best thing to The Sisters of Mercy. The singer goes by the name Marvin Arkham and looks a lot like Andrew Eldritch (who, in turn, is starting to look like Richard Belzer). Their music is an homage to the Sisters in the best way possible. Lots of bands try to copy the Sisters’ sound, but these guys have the lyrical content down too.
